Graphic designer by day, I feel like the studio is a secret lover. I can’t wait to get there.
You’ll find me at my studio in the Artisan’s Resource Center in Marietta, GA most evenings and weekends. Making art challenges and fascinates me. I’m interested in reaching an essence of a subject, either of the human condition (drawing/painting from life), plein air painting, or translating the mood from a photograph. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look at the world, to discover beauty inherent in daily life.
I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, graduated from UK with a degree in Painting and Drawing then got a MFA School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I taught in the foundations department of the Art Institute of Atlanta for four years.
